is show-runner and head writer for the new Global series Air / Sea
produced out of Vancouver;   
                 
He wrote the CBC movies Open Heart starring Megan Follows, nominated
for a 2004 Gemini Award for Best Writing, Sleeping Dogs Lie starring
Wendy Crewson and Art Hindle, which won three Gemini nominations,
and Happy Christmas, Miss King which won four.

For A&E, BBC & CBC, he wrote Butterbox Babies starring Susan Clark,
and Nicholas Campbell. It was the highest-rated movie in Canadian television broadcast history and the highest-rated movie from Channel 4, Great Britain,  a Gemini nominee for Best Writing and Gemini winner for Best Production.

For HBO, Ray wrote Leonardo: A Dream Of Flight starring Brent Carver, winner of a Gemini for Best Writing, Einstein: Light To The Power of 2 with Paul Soles as Einstein, and Bach’s Fight for Freedom, a Cable Ace nominee for Best Writing. 

He wrote many episodes of the hit series Road to Avonlea starring Sarah Polley, Wind at My Back, the satirical Made in Canada with Rick Mercer and Peter Keleghan, Traders, and Deepwater Black.  He was creative consultant for the Global series Train 48 with over 50 episodes.
