Arnie Zipursky

CEO and PRESIDENT of CAMBIUM CATALYST INTERNATIONAL

Arnie formed Cambium Entertainment in 1982 and has executive-produced hundreds of hours of award-winning programming for the world audience. In 2002, Cambium merged with Catalyst Entertainment to form CCI Entertainment.

 

Arnie was co-creator and executive producer of the hit CBC and Nickelodeon series SHARON, LOIS & BRAM’S ELELPHANT SHOW, which has been inducted into the US Gold Parents' Choice Hall of Fame. He co-created and executive produced 65 episodes of ERIC’S WORLD, honored with an Award of Excellence from the Children’s Broadcast Institute. In the world of music programming MY FOOLISH HEART: THE HOLLY COLE TRIO received two Gemini Awards as well as the prestigious Rose D’Or Montreux.

 

In animation programming, Arnie was co-creator and executive producer on NILUS THE SANDMAN and KIT & KABOODLE.
He most recently executive-produced THE RIPPING FRIENDS
(a John Kricfalusi series) and is currently executive-producing the hit 3D CG series MONSTER BY MISTAKE, recipient of the Chrysler Viewer’s Choice Award.

 

In the area of adult prime-time drama, Arnie produced THE RIDE, nominated at the 2002 Monte Carlo International Television Festival for Best TV Movie, Best Actor,  Best Screenplay, and Best Director. 

 

He is currently Executive-Producing the 26-episode reality series GHOST TRACKERS for YTV, the series Erky Perky and Meteor, the Monster Truck plus a film about the holocaust - My Opposition, The Diaries of Freidrich Kellner, through his Abella Entertainment Ltd. Division, which specializes in high-quality programming for an adult audience.


Arnie's student film at Capilano College in British Columbia was about the Chinese railway workers!

 

He is executive producer of IRON ROAD.
